Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the talaqqi method in improving the memorization ability of the 30th Juz of the Qur’an among early childhood students at TK Plus Sumur Bandung. The research was motivated by the importance of applying learning methods that are appropriate to the developmental characteristics of young children in the process of Qur’anic memorization, to make learning more effective, enjoyable, and meaningful. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental design (one-group pretest-posttest design). The research subjects consisted of 18 children from the Bulan class. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and memorization tests (pretest and posttest). Data analysis was carried out using the Paired Sample T-Test assisted by SPSS software. The results revealed that the implementation of the talaqqi method had a significant effect on improving children’s ability to memorize the 30th Juz of the Qur’an. Therefore, the talaqqi method is proven to be an effective and pedagogically appropriate approach to enhance Qur’anic memorization skills in early childhood education.
