Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Team Achievement Division terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at MIS Bongas IV. The research employed a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Design using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The participants consisted of two classes: class III A as the experimental group taught using the STAD model, and class III B as the control group taught conventionally. Data were collected through learning achievement tests (pre-test and post-test) and documentation, then analyzed using normality tests, t-tests, and N-Gain calculations. The results showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The average N-Gain score of 0.56 indicated a moderate category, suggesting an improvement in students’ mathematics learning outcomes after the implementation of the STAD model. Therefore, the STAD cooperative learning model is proven effective in enhancing mathematics learning outcomes for elementary school students.
